Short and oh so sweet 🥰

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Maccrimmon! They got married a few weeks ago and this isn’t only the preview but also to say that the album is finished (I’m a busy bee but I love it)

This has been one of the shorter weddings I’ve photographed as even though it’s up to 2.5 for Ceremony packages we sometimes don’t need that long. For Rachel and Paul they wanted me to arrive shortly before they do, photograph the ceremony then do the photos of the guests and couple quickly as they had a meal booked to celebrate. One thing was very clear from them though - they wanted most of their photos as candids! Nothing staged, just being in the moment even when it’s photos of them.

Haworth Art Gallery was the perfect location for them as they had the perfect backdrop and lots of places to walk around...even when it was throwing it down with rain when the couple photos began (typical!!) we all kept our cool and got the brollies and coats out ☔️

So any engaged couples may be worried but want to know “what happens if it rains on our wedding day?” you make the most of it by photographing in the venue when you usually wouldn’t do, walk around the empty parks that are usually full of people and shelter under the trees for some portraits. There’s nothing more cute and cozy than that!
