Take a chance on me!

Mr and Mrs Hills tied the knot last Friday and goodness me what a beautiful day it was for this beautiful couple.

They were actually the first couple to book me as a wedding photographer so I was so excited for the day to finally arrive! I've photographed weddings in the past but it was a new offering as Lydia Turner Photography at the time - I can't thank them enough for that.

On the day I made sure to pull everything out the bag to make sure they got their dream photos, clear skies or (more so) not, and I think we nailed it!

After the ceremony at Burnley Registry Office I whisked them away to Towneley Park, the same location as their engagement photoshoot. They wanted to do similar poses from that shoot as Mr and Mrs which was such a good idea! We also got really lucky as when we arrived to Towneley Hall to use the gorgeous building as a backdrop there was a very kind security guard so moved signs away for us and even let us use the entrance hall for a few photos even though it was closed for a private function!!!

We got so lucky with the photos and I know for a fact that I got so lucky to photograph the wedding of a fantastic couple. They were so down to earth, up for any suggestions I had and lots of laughs throughout the day! Thank you so much again and congratulations to you both - I love the chocolates and candle by the way!
