“It’s like rain on your wedding day!”

Congratulations to Chloe and Liam who got married a few weeks ago! We all had our fingers crossed for the perfect sunny day as March can be so unpredictable with the weather...and mother nature won in the end. So, what did we do? We did the ceremony inside, skipped the confetti and braved the rain for the couple portraits. They did amazing and I’m so glad the rain paused when we went outside. These photos are so romantic the little hopeless romantic in me couldn’t get enough of it 🥰

One of my favourite parts of the day was doing a last-second studio setup for the family photos! Whilst the couple was mingling after the ceremony I reserved a corner of the room to set up my lights, did a few test shots and was all good to go in around 5 minutes. What I loved is that it became a bit of entertainment for the guests and they could jump in for a photo with the couple too! Everyone was warm, dry and still had the beautiful grounds in the background.

I will never let rain ruin wedding photos and Mr and Mrs Dagnall’s wedding is the perfect example of that!! Thank you so much to you both for trusting me with studio setup idea and braving the bad weather for your couple portraits. It was so damn worth it I think ❤️
